Introduction

Which platforms UnifyApps supports depends on what you are trying to do. There is not one list — there are three, and they differ on purpose.

  1. Discovery — Platforms you can sweep to find agents and models you did not register.

  2. Agent registration — Platforms and frameworks you can register an agent against by hand, including SDKs Discovery cannot sweep.

  3. Model registration — Platforms a model can be served from.

A framework such as LangChain appears in the second list and not the first, because there is no tenant to sweep — you instrument the agent and it reports in. Reading the right list for the task saves an hour of looking for a platform in the wrong picker.

Platform availability is resolved by the product at runtime rather than fixed in a release, so treat the in-product picker as the authority and this page as a snapshot of it.

Where Control · Enforced is available. It can be selected where the platform can route calls through the UnifyApps gateway — UnifyApps and n8n in Discovery. On every other platform the Control card is disabled. Read Connection Types for what that means when you design controls.

Known limitations

  1. Control · Enforced is limited to some platforms — It is selectable for UnifyApps and n8n connections, and for agents registered on Anthropic Agent SDK, OpenAI Agent SDK, LangChain and LangGraph. Plan governance on every other platform on Observe · Advisory. If an existing agent record shows an enforced tier, confirm what governs it with your UnifyApps contact before relying on it.

  2. A platform in the picker is not a guarantee of assets — What a sweep returns depends on what the connection's credentials are permitted to list. See How Agent Identification Works.

  3. This page describes availability, not depth — Which fields a given platform populates on a discovered record varies. Check the individual provider page under Discovery Providers.

FAQs

Why is LangChain missing from Discovery?

LangChain is a framework, not a hosted platform — there is no account to sweep. You register the agent and instrument it, and it reports in. See Register an Agent Manually.

My platform is on none of the three lists.

Register the agent manually against the framework it is built on. If that framework is also absent, the agent can still be governed — pick the closest platform in the picker and instrument over OpenTelemetry. Absence from the picker means no pre-written setup instructions, not lack of support. See Bring Your Own Agent. Raising the platform with your account team is still worth doing, as the connector layer is where new platforms land first.

How current is this page?

The lists mirror the in-product pickers at the time of writing. The product is the authority; if the picker shows a platform this page does not, trust the picker.
