This is where an agent's life begins — finding or creating one, picking the right type for the job, and knowing your way around the editor you'll spend the most time in.
Overview
Every agent starts in the AI Agents Manager, the list of every agent you can access. From there, Create Agent walks you through picking a type and landing in the right editor. UnifyApps supports three agent types — Simple (a fast split-view builder), Advanced (the full configuration suite covered by most of the rest of this documentation), and Workflow (a visual flow for step-by-step processes, available only in some environments) — plus External Agents, which register a third-party agent from another system so it can be used like a native one.
Once an Advanced agent exists, the Agent Editor is the home base you return to for everything else: instructions, tools, knowledge, memory, guardrails, testing, and deployment. Simple and Workflow agents have their own editors.
