The Prompts section lets you expose structured prompts from your workspace's Prompts library to MCP clients, so they can list and fetch ready-made instructions over the protocol instead of you writing them per server.
Overview
Headed Prompts — "Structured messages and instructions for interacting with language models" — with an Add Prompts button. A server's prompts are not written here: they are picked from the workspace's existing Prompts library and exposed to MCP clients, which list them and fetch their messages over the protocol. The table shows each attached prompt's Prompt Name and Description, read live from the underlying prompt.
Adding Prompts to the Server
Click Add Prompts to open a drawer listing your prompt library with search, per-row checkboxes, and a select-all; prompts already attached are shown as such and can't be re-selected. Pick one or more and click Add — they're attached in bulk.
If your library is empty, the drawer shows "Add Your First Prompt" — "You haven't created any Prompt yet" — with an Add Prompt button that jumps to the Prompts module to create one first.
Viewing or Removing a Prompt
Click a row to open the Prompt Details drawer with the prompt's Name, Description, and its messages. To remove one, hover a row and click the trash icon — "Delete Prompt?" asks "Are you sure you want to delete the Prompt? This action cannot be undone."
Note: Removing a prompt only detaches it from this server — the prompt itself stays in your Prompts library and remains available to attach elsewhere.
Before Any Prompts Are Attached
The section shows "Add Your First Prompt" — "Select your existing prompts for use in the MCP Server" — with an Add Prompts button.
