AI Solutions lets you start from a business problem instead of a blank canvas. You describe what you need in plain English, the Solution agent proposes a plan, and once the plan is agreed it builds the app, the data it stores and the automations that run it — all linked together as one solution.
Overview
The module describes itself as "One problem statement, one linked set of assets." A solution is the container for that idea: it holds the problem you described, the plan written for it, every conversation you have with the agent about it, and links to everything the agent builds.
You'll find AI Solutions as its own entry in the platform's side navigation, marked with a cube icon. It is separate from the AI Agents area: AI Agents is where you build an individual agent, while AI Solutions is where an agent builds a complete working solution for you.
Note: AI Solutions is switched on per environment by an administrator. If you don't see it in the side navigation, see Enabling AI Solutions and Access.
How a Solution Comes Together
Describe the problem. On the create page — "Describe. Build. Ship." — you type the problem you're trying to solve and can attach supporting files. See Creating a Solution.
Answer questions. If something is unclear, the Solution agent asks a few clarifying questions in the chat before it plans. See Clarifying Questions and Connection Requests.
Review the plan. The agent writes a plan listing the objects, screens, workflows and integrations it intends to build. See Reading a Solution Plan.
Approve and build. You approve the plan (or let the agent proceed on its own in Auto mode), and the agent builds the assets. See Approving and Revising Plans.
Refine. You review the result in the builder's Preview, Code, Data sources and Objects views, and keep chatting with the agent to change it.
Publish. When you're happy, you publish the solution so its app is live for your users. See Publishing a Solution.
What a Solution Builds
Everything the agent creates for a solution is linked to it as an asset. The assets you'll work with are:
Asset | What it is | Where you see it |
|---|---|---|
App | The application your users open — its screens, navigation and logic. | The builder's Preview and Code tabs, and the App view on the Overview page. |
Objects | The records the solution stores, such as tasks, customers or requests. | The builder's Objects tab. |
Workflows | The automated parts, such as sending reminders or syncing data. | The builder's Data sources tab. |
Connections | The external apps the solution signs in to when it runs. | The builder's More tab, under Connections. |
Assets are ordinary platform assets that live in your project. Deleting a solution removes it from AI Solutions, so you can no longer open its plan or chats from there, but the objects, workflows and app it built stay in the project.
The Two Places You Work
Surface | What it's for |
|---|---|
Solution builder | A full-screen workspace with the chat on the left and the solution's layers — Plan, Preview, Code, Data sources, Objects, Trace and More — on the right. This is where you talk to the agent and review what it built. See Solution Builder Layout. |
Solution details pages | The solution's summary pages: Overview, Plan, Insights, Versions and Settings. Opening a solution from the list lands you here. See Solution Overview Page. |
About the Solution Agent
The Solution agent is the AI that plans and builds every solution. You talk to it in the builder's chat: describe changes, answer its questions and approve its plans. A few older messages in the product still refer to it by its earlier name, AI FDE — both names mean the same agent.
