The Solution builder is the full-screen workspace where you talk to the Solution agent and review everything it builds. This page is a tour of the screen.
Overview
You reach the builder by creating a solution, or by clicking Open in builder on a solution's Overview page. The screen has two parts:
The chat panel on the left, where you talk to the Solution agent. See Chatting with the Solution Agent.
The main area on the right, with a strip of tabs — the solution's layers — and the content of the selected tab.
You need View permission on a solution to open its builder. Viewers can read everything; changes are blocked asset by asset for people without the matching permission.
The Chat Panel
The top of the chat panel holds, from left to right:

Clock icon | The clock control opens the solution's chat history. Saved versions are available from the relevant versions area — the More tab. |
Hide copilot chat | Collapses the chat panel to give the main area more room. Your conversation keeps running while it's hidden; click the same button to bring it back. |
Drag the edge between the chat panel and the main area to make the panel wider or narrower. Your browser remembers the width.
The Layer Tabs
The tabs across the top of the main area show the solution's layers. A tab that isn't ready yet is greyed out — hover it to see why.

A tab can open while its contents are still being built, so you can watch assets appear.
Which Tab Opens First
The builder opens on Preview when the solution has an app or an approved plan, and on Plan otherwise. Approving a plan switches you to Preview so you can watch the build. Once you click a tab yourself, the builder stays on your choice.
Header Controls
The right side of the header changes with the tab you're on:
On Preview: device size, page switcher, open in a new tab, the Interact / Comment / Edit switch, and Publish. See Previewing a Solution App and Publishing a Solution.
On Code: Save, Discard and View changes when you have unsaved edits, and Download code.
On every tab: avatars of everyone who has this solution open right now, and — for apps linked to a Git repository — the branch the agent is working on.
Links and Notifications
The address bar follows what's on screen — the chat, the tab and any open object or workflow — so you can share a link that opens the same view. The browser's Back button leaves the builder rather than stepping back through tabs.
If your browser tab isn't in focus, the builder plays a short chime when the agent finishes its work or needs your input.
