3 mins READ

The Overview page is a solution's home: where it stands, what it built, and a quick way back into your conversations with the Solution agent. It's where you land when you open a solution from the list.

Overview

A solution's details pages have these tabs:

Tab

What it shows

Overview

The solution's progress, its app once built, and its details.

Plan

A read-only copy of the plan with its full revision history. See Approving and Revising Plans.

Insights

The same usage analytics dashboard every app gets, for the app this solution built. It fills in as people use the published app.

Versions

The solution's published versions. See Solution Versions and Restore.

Settings

Who can use the app and how they sign in. See Solution App Settings.

Header Buttons

  • Open in builder — opens the Solution builder on your most recent chat about this solution, or a new chat if you haven't had one. Anyone who can view the solution can use it.

  • Preview — opens the app's latest build in a new browser tab. It's available once the app has been built, and works even while the agent is making changes.

What the Overview Shows

The large area on the left changes as the solution progresses:

Stage

What you see

Being planned

The Building your solution card at its first step, Planning.

Plan ready

A plan summary — "Plan published by Solution agent" — with its title and summary, up to four screens, workflows and objects from the plan, and View full plan. Below it, cards show how many of each are planned. "Nothing has been built from this plan yet."

Building

The Building your solution card ticking through Planning, Creating objects, Building workflows and app and Putting it together.

Built

A switcher with three views: App — try the latest built version right here; Workflows; and Objects, each with a count. Clicking a workflow or object opens it in the Solution builder.

The Details Panel

The panel on the right shows:

  • Description — "Added once the plan is written" until there's a plan.

  • Status — the solution's current stage, such as Built · not published or Published · v2. See Solution Lifecycle and Statuses.

  • Application URL — the app's address, with a copy button, or No app yet.

  • Plan — View plan opens the plan in the builder.

  • Tags — the app's tags, once there's an app.

  • Created by and Last modified by.

Your Chats

At the bottom of the panel, Your chats lists your conversations about this solution. Click one to reopen it in the builder, or click New chat to start a fresh one. As the panel notes when you have none: "Chats are private to you. Start one to change this solution with Solution agent."

FAQs

Can I use a solution's app from its Overview page?

Yes. Once the app is built, the App view lets you try the latest built version from the Overview page. Preview shows the latest build, which may include unpublished changes. The Application URL serves the published version.

What's the difference between the Preview button and the Application URL on a solution?

Preview opens the app's latest build, which may include changes you haven't published. The Application URL is the app's address for your users, which serves the published version.

Why does a solution's description say "Added once the plan is written"?

The Solution agent hasn't written a plan yet. The description appears once the plan exists.
