Sometimes the Solution agent needs something from you before it can carry on — an answer to a question, or access to an outside app. These requests appear as a card in the chat panel.
Overview
When the agent is waiting on you, a card is pinned just above the message box. Only one card shows at a time, in this order of priority:
Connection request — the agent needs you to connect an app account.
Clarifying questions — the agent needs answers before it plans.
Plan approval — the agent is waiting for you to approve its plan. See Approving and Revising Plans.
Waiting cards survive a page reload, so you can come back to them later. If your browser tab isn't in focus when a question or request arrives, the builder plays a short chime.
Answering Clarifying Questions
Before it writes a plan — and sometimes later — the agent may ask a few questions. They appear one at a time in a card that replaces the message box while it's open.
When there are several questions, use the arrows at the top to move between them; the counter shows where you are, for example 2 of 4.
Pick an option. For a single-choice question, clicking an option records it and moves to the next question. For a multiple-choice question, tick every option that applies; the footer shows how many you've selected.
Write your own answer in the box below the options — "Write something else", or "Write answer here" when a question has no options.
Skip a question you don't have a preference on. The agent treats it as "No preference" and decides for itself.
On the last question, submit your answers with the Submit clarifications arrow. Answering a single-choice last question submits straight away.
Your answers are sent together as one message and appear in the conversation as a collapsed Clarifying questions card that you can expand to review.
To answer later, close the card with the X. Nothing is sent, the message box comes back, and the questions reappear when you reload the page.
Connection Requests
If the solution needs to work with an outside app — for example to read from Snowflake or post to Slack — the agent asks you to connect an account. The card is the platform's standard connection picker: connect a new account, choose one you already have, or reconnect an existing one. Once you choose, your answer goes back to the agent and the card disappears.
The agent stays mid-task while it waits, so it carries on from where it was as soon as you answer. Accounts you connect this way are listed afterwards under More → Connections — "Apps this solution signs in to when it runs."
