You create a solution by describing the business problem you want solved. The Solution agent takes it from there, so the most useful thing you can do is describe the problem well.
Overview
Click New solution at the top of the solutions list to open the create page, headed "Describe. Build. Ship." — "Start with the business problem — we'll propose the assets." There is no blank or manual option: a solution is always started from a description, because the agent's plan and build are what give it its content. You need Create permission on AI Solutions to use this page.
Describing the Problem
Type into the box that asks "What problem are you trying to solve?". The box grows as you write. Press Enter to submit, or Shift+Enter to start a new line.
A good description says who the solution is for, what they need to do, and any rules that matter. For example: "Our facilities team needs a way for staff to report office maintenance issues, assign them to a technician, and track them until they're fixed. Urgent issues should notify the facilities lead." You don't need to name objects or screens — the agent works those out and shows them to you in the plan.
Options in the Prompt Box

Send | Appears once you start typing or attach a file. It's disabled while a file is still uploading. |
What Happens When You Submit
The solution is created with your description as its name and description, and the status Planning.
Your description and any attachments are sent to the Solution agent as the first message of a new chat.
Within a few seconds you're taken straight into the Solution builder, where the agent's reply appears in the chat.
Each submit creates exactly one solution, even if you press Enter more than once. The browser's Back button won't return you to the create page afterwards; the new solution is already in your list.
If Something Goes Wrong
What you see | What it means and what to do |
