Introduction

Add MCP server opens a form for the server's name, description, owner, data sensitivity and connection.

Fields

• Name and Description — free text.

• Owner — defaults to you.

• Data sensitivity — Public, Internal, Confidential or Restricted. Default is Internal.

• Connection — an active MCP servers connection; you can create one inline without leaving the form.

After you save

Save opens the server. The gateway URL ends in <slug>/mcp/streamableHTTP. The app name and icon are inferred from the connection's host — UnifyApps recognizes about 40 common apps (Asana, Atlassian, GitHub, Slack, Notion, Linear, Stripe, Salesforce, Snowflake, UnifyApps and others); any other host shows generically as “MCP server”.
