Enterprise Chat ("Ask Unify") is the day-to-day chat interface where you talk to your organization's AI brain — ask questions, run tasks, and get work done using the apps and knowledge already connected to your workspace.
What Is Enterprise Chat
The home screen greets you by name and asks "How can I help you today?" with a single input box — Ask anything… — for typing a question or request. The same chat surface can search connected knowledge, call connected apps, browse the web, generate images, and hand off multi-step work to a routine, all from one conversation.
Starting a Conversation
Type into the input box and press Enter, or attach something first with the + button beside it. The + menu is where most of the power tools live: Add photos & files, Web Search, Deep Research, Create Image, and Skills — see Capabilities and Skills for each. A microphone icon on the right lets you speak your message instead of typing it.
The Sidebar
The left rail is your way into everything else Enterprise Chat can do:
Sidebar item | Takes you to |
|---|---|
New Chat | Starts a fresh conversation. |
Search | Finds a past conversation. |
Folders that group chats, files, and routines around a topic. | |
Documents and files the AI has produced for you. | |
Scheduled or manually-triggered automations. | |
Agents | Pre-built specialist personas from the Agent Store you can chat with directly. |
Below these, the sidebar shows Pinned items (chats, projects, and agents you pin), your recent Routines, and chat History. A dot on a chat shows whether it is running, awaiting your response, unread, or failed. Your avatar at the bottom opens Settings — where Skills, Connectors, Memory, and Get Apps & Extensions live.
Where to Go Next
If you're setting up your workspace rather than just chatting, start with Connectors to bring in your apps, then Memory so Enterprise Chat carries context across conversations.
