Enterprise Search is where you ask work questions in plain language and get an AI answer drawn from your organization's connected knowledge. This page covers what you see and can do as the person asking the questions, not the admin settings behind it.

What can I do on the Enterprise Search page?

Type a question, and Enterprise Search streams back an answer with citations to the documents it used. It's a conversation, so you can ask a follow-up in the same thread and it keeps the context. Because the answer is written from your indexed company content and not the model's general knowledge, it stays grounded in what your organization actually has, and it only draws on sources you're allowed to see.

How do I read an answer's sources and citations?

Answers carry numbered citations ([1], [2], …) inline, each pointing to a source in the sources panel beside the answer. Citations are grouped by source, so one document is one number even if the answer draws on several passages from it.

  • Open a citation or the sources panel to see which document a claim came from, and follow the link to it.

  • If a source has more excerpts than are shown, use N More to see the rest and See Less to collapse them.

Check the citations to confirm an answer is backed by real documents before you rely on it.

How does Enterprise Search help me find the right thing?

Beyond a single answer, the search experience offers aids to get you there faster:

  • Type-ahead suggestions as you start typing.

  • Recent searches you've run before.

  • Trending and recently accessed documents across the org.

  • Filters to narrow results.

Use these to rediscover something you saw before or explore what's popular, rather than phrasing a full question every time.
