Sessions lists the real conversations people have had with Enterprise Search.

What a Session Is

A session is one user's conversation with the agent, identified by a Case ID. It stores who talked to the agent, on which channel, the first message as its subject, and running metadata like duration and response status. A session isn't explicitly closed — it simply stops growing when nothing continues it.

The Sessions Table

The table lists conversations with Case ID, First Message, Last Message, User, Cost, Tokens, Traces (count), Duration, and Start Time. A stats strip above it summarizes Total Sessions, Avg Traces/Session, Avg Session Time, Avg Tokens Used, and Total Cost. Hovering a row reveals an open button that launches the session in a new tab, landing on its most recent trace.

The User column doesn't appear if your workspace hides user identities in observability.

The table opens on today's data and loads about 30 rows at a time as you scroll, sorted newest-first. Widen the date range before concluding there's no activity for a period you expect traffic in.

Evaluated Sessions

Switch the toggle above the table from All to Evaluated to see only sessions that online evaluation has scored, with a result and a metrics panel of per-metric aggregate scores. Until you've enabled evaluation and configured metrics, this view reads No eval setup yet with a Setup Online Evaluation button; if evaluation is on but nothing matched yet, it reads No evaluated sessions yet.
