Directory is where you browse the people Enterprise Search has synced from your connected apps.

What It Shows

Directory lists the synced people records, giving you a browsable view of everyone the search agent knows about. Each row shows the person's name (User), Email, Title, and Department. The agent draws on these records, including roles, teams, and reporting lines, when answering people-aware questions.

If the Directory Is Empty

If no source is connected yet, Directory sends you to Sources to add one first. If a source is connected but you see a Sync in Progress banner, wait for the sync to finish or trigger a manual sync from the source.
