Authentication
Before you begin, make sure you have the following information:
Connection Name
: Choose a meaningful name for your connection. This name helps you identify the connection within your application or integration settings. It could be something descriptive like "MyAppCloseCRMIntegration".Authentication Type
: Select the type of authentication for connecting to your Close CRM account:API Key
API Key Based
Log in to your Close CRM account.
Navigate to Settings in the left-hand menu and select
Developer
inside the connect section.Select
API Key
from top and click on it.Enter a descriptive name for the API key.
Click
Create API Key
.Copy the generated API key immediately, as it won’t be fully visible again after you leave the page.
Store the API key securely, treating it like a password.
