Affinity is a relationship intelligence and customer relationship management platform designed to help businesses build and manage strong professional relationships. It provides tools to organize contacts, companies, deals, and interactions while automatically capturing relationship data.
By integrating with email, calendars, and other business tools, Affinity helps teams track relationship history, identify opportunities, manage deal pipelines, and collaborate effectively throughout the customer and partnership lifecycle.
Authentication
Connecting your application to Affinity CRM requires an API key. Before starting, make sure you have the following information:
Connection Name: Choose a meaningful name for your connection. This name helps you identify the connection within your application or integration settings. It could be something descriptive like MyAppAffinityCRMIntegration.
API Key: The API key is required to connect your Affinity CRM account.
API Key Based Authentication
Log in to your Affinity account.
Click Settings in the left navigation.
Click Manage Apps.
Click + New App.
Enter a name for the API key and, optionally, add a description.
Click Add App.
Copy the generated API key secret when it is displayed.
Paste the copied secret into the API Key field in your connection configuration.
You need the Generate API Key permission to create an API key. The API key secret is displayed only once, so copy it before closing the dialog.
